Stoic Strength
This painting is an acrylic portrait of my friend, Shakiya. This piece was a study delving into color palettes and personality. Specifically, this piece focused on studying analogous colors and the ways colors interact to bring energy and life into a piece. The contrast between the energetic colors and the stoic expression interact to create a sort of vibrant serenity in their juxtaposition.
